Seasoned with Love: Tangy Key Lime Pie

Are you looking for that one delicious desert, but just can’t think of it? Are you looking for something sweet, but want a zing to your taste buds? This pie will make your tongue dance with flavor! Try Key lime Pie!  Just follow these 10 easy steps!

Ingredients you’ll Need:

1/2 Cup Lime Juice

1/8 Cup Lemon Juice

4 Egg Yolks

14 oz of Condensed Milk

Graham Cracker Crust

Whipped Cream

A few of the things you'll need to help create a tasty pie!

Step 1: Take out a large mixing bowl and a mixing spoon. Also get out a regular bowl and spoon. Take out all of the ingredients above. Don’t forget all ingredients are absolutely crucial!

Step 2: Preheat your oven to 375°.

Step 3: Pour the can of sweetened condensed milk into the large mixing bowl that you just took out. Next, add the instructed amount of lemon juice and lime juice. Use your mixing spoon to stir for about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4: After stirring away with your mixing spoon, grab the regular sized bowl and spoon. Now get your 4 eggs ready. Next step can be a bit intense!

Step 5: This is the tricky part so pay CLOSE attention! You will need to crack each egg on the side of the regular bowl. You need to balance the yolk between each half of the egg. Each time one half of the egg should have less and less egg white in it, and the yolk should be separating from the egg white too. Once the yolk has separated from the variety of the egg white then you need to have the egg yolk in the cleaner half of the egg. You should then pour the yolk into the large mixing bowl. Keep up this process with all 4 eggs. Once done with putting in the egg yolks, mix it all together for about 5-7 minutes.

Avoid breaking egg shells into the bowl as you crack your eggs!

Step 6: Now that you have all of your ingredients mixed together, you need to slowly pour the mix into the graham cracker crust. You should have just enough to fill the crust to the brim. If you over flow, something went very wrong during this baking lesson.

Be sure to pour carefully; You don't want to spill any of your hard work away!

Step 7: Place the pie into the oven and set the timer for 10-15 minutes, depending on how your oven is. Now wait patiently.

Step 8: Once the oven timer goes off, look at your pie and make sure it doesn’t feel all gushy like it would at the beginning. It should feel tougher, but not hard! If your pie happens to be done, take it out.  Let it sit for a good 5-10 minutes so it can cool down.

Step 9: Is it cooled down? Awesome! Now if you are a total sucker for whipped cream, like me, be ready to go wild! You can spray it all over the pie, or just keep it simple and stay to the outside.

Just add a little bit of whip-cream and there you have it: the finished product.

Step 10: Does it look absolutely yummy yet? Well you are in luck! You can completely devour it now! Eat up!
