Editor-in-Chief  | Sam DiSalvo | editor@unrinsight.com Sam got her start at Insight Magazine three years ago, writing movie reviews about box office bombs and has-been bands. She worked her way up, and now prefers to write in depth features on student life, with the occasional satire piece here and there. Sam has enjoyed writing from an early age, thus always knowing that any potential career would yield little money, but much satisfaction. When she's not working on Insight, she likes to avoid cooking, make puns, partake in awkward conversation and dancing, do improv and eat pizza. Print Managing Editor | Geoff McFarland | mcfarland@unrinsight.com Geoff is a Creative Writing Major, with an interest in folktales and mythology. He loves a good yarn. He hosts “Homeschooled by Horses” on Wolf Pack Radio, playing alt-country and interviewing local musicians. He traveled happily with the Nevada Debate Union for two years, and thinks that you should check it out. This is his first semester as Print Managing Editor for Insight Magazine, where he hopes to encourage writers committed to broadening the magazine’s diversity of voice and experience.  He reads Dillard; he follows Colbert; he reps Massachusetts. He spends a large chunk of time incorporating technology into every day life. He is a journalist, a designer, a lover, a student, and a thinker. He's always open to new ideas and using the world as his playground. Whatever life throws, he'll be ready for it. Webmaster | Derek Jordan | webmaster@unrinsight.com Derek Jordan is the resident computer geek at Insight. He has been designing websites for 6 years. He hopes to use his information systems degree one day to make websites professionally. In his not-so-copious amounts of free time, Derek enjoys skiing at the local resorts, camping, hiking and going to concerts. It's her job to manage Insight's outrageous office. Outside of doing this, she is a pre-nursing student, about half way to graduation. She fills the a lot of her time working at Newman’s Deli and Sparks Parks & Recreation. When she's not working, you might find her watching episodes of her most recent favorite TV series Dexter with her boyfriend, or driving around town with her best friend. Other than that, she's usually just trying to finish that essay she put off to the last second, or baking cookies with her Mom.
