Another short disclaimer: just because a band is overrated doesn’t mean it’s bad; in fact none of the bands I’m about to list could be considered ‘bad’ by a long shot. 1. Grizzly Bear

The Band:

**Okkervil River – I Am Very Far – May 10**

These guys released a fantastic collaboration with Roky Erickson called True Love Cast Out All Evil just last year. Not everyone loved it, but I sure did (which is why I picked it to be my honorable mention for our top 25 albums of the year).

Even though they were playing the part of the backing band, it was their music that gave Erickson’s voice power, and it was their music that gave the album such a beautiful gravity, BUY Male RX Plus Liquid ONLINE NO PRESCRIPTION. They are the masters of bittersweet, alt-country rock music, and I have high hopes that their next album will be just as fantastic as True Love was.

Where Hazards differentiated itself from other Decemberists albums by adding heavier guitar riffs (which felt super weird and out of place) and widely varying instrumentation, New York. Katy Perry being nominated for album of the year.

Justin Bieber for best new artist.

Korn for best metal performance.

An EP being nominated for album of the year.

Several appearances by the Glee cast.

The good things I saw on the list:

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire got some nominations.

And that’s it.

Here’s why no one talks about the Grammys: they have no market, purchase Lopid online. Of all the albums nominated for best album of the year, this is the one I like the best. But here’s why it isn’t my album of the year: it’s a good album (and one of Insight's Top 25 Albums of the Year), Detroit, Michigan, San Jose, California, but it isn’t the best because it’s just so similar to Arcade Fire’s earlier stuff. My take:

I really like this quote from Slant Magazine’s review of the album:

Even if this was all accidental and Willis was just trying to make music, then this was the way he perceived American popular music. I think that says something about the industry and how much it needs to change.
